Cashews, yogurt, banana and mango make this smoothie taste like you are drinking a big mango milkshake on a warm and sunny beach. I have always wanted to add cashews into my smoothie to add in extra nutrients and give it that super creamy texture but we never have cashews in our house so I never can! Finally I got to try it and it is AMAZING. Soaking the cashews before for at least two hours or preferably over night allows them to blend seamlessly into your smoothie and provide that creamy texture along with thickening it up so its more filling!
Creamy Dreamy Mango Smoothie:
1/4 cup cashews (soaked overnight or for at least 2 hours)
1 frozen banana
1 cup frozen mango
3/4 cup Greek yogurt
1 scoop Vega One French Vanilla protein powder (optional)
1 tsp turmeric
1 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp sea buckthorn berry powder
1/4 tsp maca root powder
1 cup almond milk (or other non-dairy milk)
1 cup water
Blend all ingredients in your blender until a thick, smooth and creamy consistency is achieved and enjoy!
