Avocados are a true superfood and have taken the health world by storm with their outstanding health benefits. Even though their fat content is extremely high, the fat in avocado is not equivalent to the high fat content in a fast food burger and fries. The fat in avocados boosts the levels of HDL in your body (“good” cholesterol) and can protect against damage by free radicals in the body. The fat content in avocados also is incredibly beneficial for your skin, hair and nails because of their high Vitamin E and C content making you look glowy and moisturized all the time. I could go on and on preaching about the benefits of Avocados but I don’t want to type that much and I’m sure you don’t want to read that much! Just trust me on how good they are for you, make this smoothie and love avocados.
Avocado Protein Smoothie:
1/2 ripe avocado
1 handful spinach
1/2 head romaine lettuce
1/2 cup frozen blueberries
1 scoop SunWarrior Warrior Blend Vanilla Protein Powder
1 cup + more if needed coconut water
Blend all ingredients until smooth, adding coconut water until desired consistency is reached and enjoy!
