Kale kale kale!! So much kale! This smoothie is jam packed with my two fave super greens kale and spinach, plus has the addition of pineapple, avocado and almond butter to add even more super food goodness! Drink up!
“Give Me All the Kale” Smoothie:
2 cups shredded kale
1 handful spinach
1 cup frozen pineapple chunks
1 tbsp natural almond butter
1 scoop SunWarrior vanilla protein*
1 tsp matcha green tea powder
1 cup almond milk
1 cup water (you will probably need more)
Throw all ingredients into a blender and blend really really well so no chunks of kale remain in your smoothie. Add more water if needed to blend although this smoothie is on the thicker side. Pour into your favorite smoothie cup and enjoy!
– make sure you properly wash your kale before beginning
* if you do not want to use protein powder add a whole or half banana for sweetness
