DIY Avocado Oat Face Mask

I just love avocados so much that along with eating them every day I just had to mush some up and put it on my face. Totally kidding but seriously I love this fruit so much. The fatty acids and antioxidants in avocados make them a great addition to your beauty routine by adding moisture, softness, acne fighting and skin protection to the skin. This mask is great to do before you go to sleep so you can reset your skin after a day of sweating, makeup and oils. If you want to get really fancy with it you can put cucumbers on your eyes to brighten them while you have the mask on. For some the idea of smushing avocado all over your face is kinda gross, by adding avocado to your diet you will also reap the benefits of this fabulous fruit on your complexion!

Avocado Face Mask:
1/4 super ripe avocado
1 tsp organic local honey
1 tbsp rolled oats or oat flour

In a small bowl mash the avocado until no large chunks remain. Stir in the honey and oats until fully combined and the consistency is easy to spread onto your face. Apply the mask all over your face avoiding the eye area. Leave the mask on for 10 minutes, rinse off with warm water and moisturize. Repeat mask 2-3 times a week if needed!
