Its  that wonderful time of year where the cold and flu bugs are among us! We all may be as diligent as possible, washing our hands, not sharing drinks and avoiding breathing anyone’s air (okay that might just be me…) but, the reality is that we are going to get sick! Unfortunately this tea is not some magical cure that will make you a superhuman who will never get sick, but it will lessen the symptoms of your nasty cold so that week of being sick doesn’t feel so bad! Sip on this before bed or throughout the day to help your body return to it’s regular self!


**Caution*** This tea is not the most delicious thing you will ever taste but the results are worth it so don’t be afraid!

1 tsp apple cider vinegar
1/2 lemon juiced (1 tbsp bottled lemon juice)
1 tbsp grated fresh ginger
1/2 tsp organic raw honey (optional)
1 1/2 cups boiling water

In you favorite mug combine all the ingredients, stir and let steep for 7-10 min (the longer it steeps the better!). Once the tea has been infused, strain out the ginger pieces or leave them in and drink up!
